A restorer from the workshops of the Urban Sculpture Museum hoses down the horses atop the Narvskiye Vorota in time for the celebrations of the 200th anniversary of Russia’s victory over Napoleon in 1812. The triumphal arch was built from 1827-1834 as a memorial to the heroes of that war.
